But as much as I appreciated what these respected mentors had to say, what matters more to me is what every-day people had to say about their experience with it. Fun Fact: Wanna know why I'm even allowed to share my book on Facebook in chunks, and why this may be the first virtual read-a-thon of its kind?

Because copyright laws would normally prohibit it. But... in my case, every single publisher I submitted it to rejected me! (Probably because of those poor writing skills.) So, I had no other choice but to publish it myself, and that turned out to be one of the best things that could have happened.
